Mahakali statue, carved from black marble, 18 inches, 25kg (MSKL 152), price 518$, total price 724$ + 11$ for the initation puja (Prana pratishta, 3h). Thanks for the very unique statue, it is VERY POWERFUL INDEED. When I started performing Kalimantras for it, I felt like the deity in the statue would blow my mind away! It is a new experience for me to have this kind of "professional" temple statue, not just a peace of decoration. The statue doesn`t necessarily represent the "most delicate female beauty" of Kali Ma, but it doesn´t seem to lessen the power of the statue. It is very captivating, magical and "surrealistic" to look at with its lively colours. I can spend many hours a day just watching it. The material seems also to be of very high quality. The price, 518$ for me as a westerner is quite low, perhaps not so for Indians in general? 11$ for 3 hours initation ceremony, which was even partly recorded and sent to me, is a humble sum.
